I'm Alive!!!!

I made it through the seven days straight and then had to recover for a few days- I'm getting way too old to work that many days in a row!

Just a quick update on some of the things that we've done in the last little while, (in no particular order!)
I took Dawni, Hunter and Dawni's friend Dillon to walk in the Box Elder County Relay for Life. We walked for just over an hour- sponsored by the MOM Cares Employee Foundation. This is something that I have taken the older kids to do for the last three years. We choose to walk after midnight- that way we don't roast in the hot sun...

A friend of mine sang with his family in the Mr. Relay talent contest. They sang an acapella song called "Peanut Butter and Jelly". It was too funny- and they actually did a really great job. I loved the performance so much, I set out to find the song on CD for myself and the little ones. Turns out, the version that he sang is from a group that started singing together at BYU. They have several CDs and I purchased two that have several souped up primary songs on them.

The little ones love them- as do I. Especially the "Once There Was A Snowman" songs. I recommend getting these for yourselves! They have several other CDs and all the song clips I've heard are excellent. Check them out using the link below...They're on itunes too!

  1. I LOVE these CD's. The...snowman one was funny, but I love the beginning of I hope they call me on a mission when the little boy says "I wanna go on a mission so bad." I think it's adorable!!
