Disney World was Great!

It's been awhile since we got home from vacation and TODAY was the first day my camera and computer decided that they would cooperate and download pictures for me. So, here's a few highlights of our very WARM trip to Florida...

This is Hunter showing me his best side. He refused to stop for the camera. (Cameras and Mom's are the worst combination of all, just ask him!)

This is one of the many pennies that Ryan and Katelyn smashed for their collections...cheapest souvieners ever! This one is of Randall on Monsters Inc. Disney Cast Members picked Hunter in the Monsters Laugh Factory and displayed his picture on the screen as Randall- Ryan had to find a Randall coin to commerate the moment!

Side note: When we got in line for the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Alisha Frehner was the Cast Member at the stand-by entrance! It was great seeing her there. Here's our shout out to Alisha!!! Thanks for the FastPass!

Ryan and Kate out front of the Rockin' Roller Coaster- Posing for the camera while Wes and Hunter ride...they still aren't tall enough : (

A few of the animals from the African Safari- This was one of Ryan's favorites along with Toy Story Mania (70 minute wait for that one!)

Hunter in a rare photo op!

Katelyn's favorite is still meeting characters and seeing shows- In these pics, we got to meet Alice in the United Kingdom at Epcot and then we were shrunk down to the size of a ladybug (as only Disney can do) to meet Tinkerbell and her fairy friends.

Katelyn also loved the shows, we saw Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid twice. She also loved the Green Mission on Mission to Mars. (The Great Movie Ride was another one of her favorites. That adventure will be another blog posting!)

Last but certainly not least, my favorite picture...I took this the last night at the parks. It turned out so well, I think I'll have it printed up poster size!

It Was Two Months Today

Two months ago today, a friend of mine was taken from this earthly existence in a tragic car accident. His wife had the privilege of accompanying him on his journey back to Heavenly Father. They left behind two very beautiful children.

I remember well how proud he was of his little children. He always had pictures to show and a new story to tell about his princess or his little man. I will always remember the picture of him with his kids- coloring pictures and eating marshmallows. He always had a smile a mile wide when he talked about his kids.

In honor of Curtis and his wife, I'm asking that all of you do something special today with your kids. You could color at the kitchen table with marshmallows spread out on the table for a snack, read an extra story at bedtime, or just hug them a little tighter and a little longer. Be a little bit more patient, listen a little closer. Life can change so quickly...

I've Been Tagged?

All right! I'm in! All the McKoy family will love this picture. My 4th folder, 4th picture happens to be a very special one.

In honor of Grandpa "Mac" McKoy...a picture of his navy years! I'm not sure, but I think Grandpa is on the right, midway up...cut in half. (Maybe the elklady could clarify!)

I remember going to a fireside that Granddad spoke at in Georgia. (Chuck Wiggins house on Galilee Court in Tucker in case you were wondering!) I had the privilege of listening to almost two hours of navy stories. Something I'll never forget!

I wish I could tag Mindy back...so instead I tag Julie Gardner (definitely one of the cutest blogs ever!), Mother the elklady- start a blog!, and as soon as I have two more to tag I'll let them know!

As soon as a get a minute longer, I'll post vacation pics!
